What a great season it's been thus far. We are so incredibly thankful for all the lovely new faces that have joined our family this year. This weekend is our biggest tournament to date: Western Regionals! We will be battling it out on the field for a spot in this year's World Cup. Wish us luck as we head off to Roseville, California to take the West by storm. Thank you to everyone who has helped us out via fundraisers, watched any of our practices or any of our games, or simply supported us with your thoughts and messages throughout the season. Follow our Twitter page for updates after every game this weekend.
LET'S GIVE 'EM HELL, DEVILS!
Hey Quidditch Fans!
This season has been a rebuilding year for the ASU Sun Devils. After losing prominent players at the end of last season, the team was lucky to find a handful of talented recruits at the beginning of the year. With over half of the roster brand new to the sport, a new Sun Devil Quidditch era has begun.
With an official record of 5 wins and 4 losses, the team has come out on top against the Long Beach Funky Quaffles, Riverside Quidditch, California Dobbys, and Stanford. For a more detailed look at our standings, visit: http://www.usquidditch.org/games/viewByTeam/arizona-state.
On January 31, the Arizona Quidditch Club is hosting the Arizona Championship Showcase featuring all three tiers of the sport (university, high school, and community).
In February, the team is traveling to Placer Valley, CA to participate in the West Regional Championship. These games will determine whether or not Sun Devil Quidditch will qualify for World Cup VIII in Rock Hill, SC. Wish us luck!
Stay updated by checking back here, liking us on Facebook, and following us on Twitter! We love all the support.
